THE BEST OF LEI!

Lei is one of the pioneers of The HuskieS. She is one of the many members that treats our place as HOME.

I met Lei from our previous group and we became the Councils during our stay. She was very different back then. She was conscious of the opinion of others and easily gets affected by their comments about her. I told her, “Their opinion should not define you and what matters are the people who accepts you – flaws and all.”

Fast forward to the present. After having to go through so much pain and ordeals, the girl that I used to know is now a strong woman with better values. Our tables have turned. In my utmost depressive state, she is the one who has heard me cry and who knows all of my worries. Even if I don’t reach out to her, she knows when I am hurting. I can go on and on but not everything should be shared on social media.

To Lei: I love you with all my heart and thank you for lifting me up for the past few weeks. You and Raf are very precious to me and I hope that you will continue to grow together.
